The Great Oak is the undeclared meeting lands for stallions and mares. Its a mostly peaceful land, with no fighting, and no force-breeding. Every now and then, rumors will float around of a horse-napping, but it's unknown if these stories hold any value. None of the supposed horse-napped have been heard of again.

The Canyon is a common meeting ground for those that are up to no good. Enter at your own risk. Not only are you risking your freedom, but you risk your life. Sudden rain showers flood the rivers, and the dry banks do little to absorb the rushing water. Its nothing for the raging river to sweep your feet and carry you to the ocean.

A hazardous area to enter. One wrong turn, and you can be a mile underground, with luck the only thing to return you to the surface. The chilling winds and eerie echoes can chill you to your bones. It is a common thing for young horses to venture into the mazes to impress their buddies.

With a light breeze, the tall grass ripples much like the ocean. Absolutely no evil goes on within the borders. A horse can be as carefree as they like when frolicking in the Grass Sea, with no fear of any harm.

This is a land not welcome to the testosterone challenged, meaning NO GIRLS ALLOWED. Mock fights, strategies, sound advice. Herd stallions are known to travel the lands looking for additional help in keeping their lands secure.

Hill upon green hill as far as the eye can see. Dandelions sprout heavily every spring, and turn the green grass yellow. During the summer months, the grass is lit with fireflies, calling their mates in the air. Quick rainstorms often wash debris from other lands into the green grass, leaving the lands dirtied with things that do not belong. Mud is also a common occurrence.

Named for the lush pond in the center of the territory, Crystal Pond sports a thriving supply of fresh greens year-round. The lands are kept warm by underground hot springs, and if you're lucky enough to find your way to them, you won't regret it. While they're too hot to drink, they work wonders on tight muscles and any variety of injuries. However, if you never come across them, the top lands are just as wonderful.

Smooth, shining pebbles line every inch of the crystal clear creek. The many twists and turns of the shallow creek flow through the land to surround the neutral territory of Foxglove Island. The creek provides a clean source of water for much of the year. An intense winter storm can quickly freeze the shallow, slow flowing creek, forcing the horses of the lands to break the ice. The lands are filled with lush green foliage fed by the nutrient rich ground, constantly fed by the creek.

There is no better place on the isle to catch the sunset than here. Located right on the edge, and the beach water laps steadily at the golden sand. The entire place is bathed in the colors of the sunset for hours at a time every evening. There isn't a better time to take a stroll with the one you hold dear. Watch the tide for signs of approaching storms, though. They can come in quick, and hit hard.

Aptly named for the croaking amphibians, Bullfrog Lake is great for horses fond of the water. The lake takes up approximately one-third of the territory, and the rest is covered in pebbles and cheatgrass. The only source of shelter is a small outcropping of caves by the border of the lands. With no source of heat, and little movement within the lake itself, the water is quick to freeze in the winter months, and must be broken often to prevent thick ice from forming.

Every few feet, there is a massive tree, with branches that stretch to the sky, then dip to almost touch the ground. Weeping Willow trees provide protection from all elements in the lands, but block much of the sun that the grass needs to grow. There is little to eat through much of the lands, leaving most horses to resort to eating the bark off of the trees. The lands are very shaded, and dark through most of the day.

Soggy grounds provide the environment needed to grow cattails as far as the eye can see. The plants are edible for the inhabitants of the lands, providing as much food as they can eat. While mostly the same colors in varying shades, the lands can be quite beautiful and inviting. Insects frequent the place, creating a nuisance for any horses short on patience.

If you listen closely, you can hear the frequent dripping through the large, connected caves. Stalactites hang from the ceilings of the caves, dripping moisture from the lands above. The water gathers in small dips in the stone floor. Moss gathers on the floors and walls of the caves, providing a source of food for the horse inhabitants. Little sun penetrates the lands.

No matter which way you look, you're surrounded by shadows. This place isn't for the faint of heart, because there's no telling what's hiding in the dark. Very little sun penetrates the trees, and only at high noon, when the sun is directly overhead. Thick vines hang from the branches, tangling themselves around the necks and legs of the horses that reside within the lands. Panicking may be fatal.

Spike Tip Ridge lays on the very edge of the island, as far away from the Land Bridge as possible. It drops away to a hundred foot fall, with jagged rocks to catch you at the bottom. But no worries, because the ocean will quickly wash away your corpse. The lands are named for the sharp stones that litter the area, both little and small. One misstep, and you'll have a sliced hoof for months. Infections highly possible.

Even at the brightest time of day, the lands are dark as a moonless night. The only source of light come from the glow worms deep in the caverns. They shine eerily green, casting everything in their artificial light. Water drips down the sides of the caves at all times, and moss and mushrooms grow on the cave walls. There are many dead-ends and ways to get lost. Beware.

Despite the soggy ground and water plants, everything is bathed in a sickly white color, due to the washing in of the tides. Everything has a taste of salt, including the water. Though there is not enough salt in the water to lead to dehydration, more often than not, the horses will be left feeling thirsty. All sources of food and water are salted.
