Coloring/Appearance Pollux is a red dun with a thick black dorsal stripe, dark leg and ear barring, and a dual-colored mane. Her eyes are light brown with a golden ring around the outside of her iris and green flecks near the pupil, one of the only physical traits inherited from her father. Her mane, white and black, hangs about mid-way down her neck, with the white laying over the black in most areas. She has several large scars, mostly on her legs and rear, from an encounter with a mountain lion.

Personality Pollux, while nothing like her father in looks, is everything in mind. She inherited his schizophrenia, and suffers from vivid auditory and visual hallucinations near constantly. Rylie, her mother, convinced her that they were the voices and visages of wild horses long passed, and encouraged her to listen to their words. As she grew, the hallucinations grew more violent, driving her to kill an autistic pony and blind her own mother.
Pollux has been deeply influenced by her illness and the insanity of her father, Ajax. Her mind is dark and twisted, lacking any moral standing. Her mood can turn on a dime, especially if her 'guides' are egging her on, as they so often are. Because she made efforts to strengthen her 'connection to the spirits', she is almost always experiencing some form of hallucination. They are most often mild whispers, but no matter what message they bring her she will follow through. Loyalties, friendships, none of it matters if the spirits interject. Her only true allegiance is to her own mind.
History Pollux was born to a pair of wild things named Rylie and Ajax. Ajax suffered from extreme anxiety and schizophrenia, but Rylie convinced him that he was gifted rather than crazy, and encouraged him to embrace his guides. Shortly after they met, Rylie was showing signs of pregnancy.
Because of their wild, reckless ways, Pollux was lucky to survive. She was born early, and started out very small. Within a few weeks of entering the world, she was telling her mother about whispers in her ears, and Rylie was overjoyed to have a child with Ajax's gift. The delusional mare encouraged her child to follow the advice given by her ancestors.
Among these was the brutal murder of an autistic pony, blinding her own mother, and turning her little brother Apollo into a mindless, anxiety ridden slave. Eventually Ajax told her to leave and find her own way, that there were greater things awaiting her. For once, he was right. After a year of travel she found her way to Riptide, encountering both Vitto and Hyde. The good brother chased her off, able to see her madness, and kept her brother with him. The mare then found Hyde, whom she quickly pledged her allegiance to. It was a quick climb to power, and now the mad mare sits atop th hierarchy with only Hyde himself to answer to.
